The Free Church '.Council resolved in favour of a measure providing for Welsh Church Disestablishment being introduced this session, and affirmed the necessity of the Free Chmrches continually engaging in politics. A motion by the R«v. Dr. Clifford, attributing the failure of 'the educational concordat to the exorbitant demands made by the Anglican leaders, and condemning "contracting ouT>," was carried. Only 60 of the delegates favoured secular education.
