A HEAVY SHIPMENT. In addition to large lines of wool, tallow, and frozen meat for the United I Kingdom, the Kaikoura, which sailed j for London yesterday, took an exceptionally heavy shipment of butter and cheese amounting to 42,583 boxes of butter, and 12,541 crates of cheese. The ports of shipment were as follow :

The value of the butter is £117,710, which is taken on the basis of Ills per cwt, less 3 per cent, for commission and other charges. The value of the cheese is difficult to estimate, as the weights are not yet returned to the Customs, and the crates contain two or three cheeses, and those of varying weights.
