Prince Ito, Japanese Resident-Gen-eral in Korea, in a striking speech at Tai-ku, strenuously combated the idea that Oapan was aiming at the overthrow of Korea. He declared that the Sovereigns of Japan and Korea were in mutual fraternal relationship, and would be grieved if friction arose between tho two peoples.
