It is stated at' Constantinople that one of the Sultan's sons, with nine other officials, will shortly join a United States squadron, with the object of studying American naval methods. Last month Router's Constantinople correspondent reported that Turkey had expressed a wish to engage the services of a British admiral to reorganise the navy, and that Mr. Asquilh, British Prime Minister, had given his assent to the proposal.
