PIPE BAND CONCERT.

An attractive programme has been piepared for the Wellington Pipe Band and Dancers' Club's concert and dance in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hal) on Monday week, 25th January. A feature of the entertainment will be the performance of Mr. J. A. Center, of Edinburgh, who has made a great name for himself as a Scottish piper, having won an unusually large number of prizes at Home. Miss Mina Caldow, the popular contralto, has also been engaged. Turner's string band will play several selections, and there will be various Highland dances under the direction of Mr. W. E. Boyd, late of the Mannar* International troupe of dancers. Mr. L. Te Puni, comedian, will also appear. As for wit and Humour good, Bet a bit and Back Tom Hood! And as Hood's great Humour's pure, So is Woodd' Groat Peppermint Curs.
