Sea.— Heavy on west coast of North Island and at Cape Farewell Spit; considerable on east coast from East Cape southward; moderate everywhere else. .Tides.— High on eastern coast from East Cape southward and on western coast of North Island also at Cape Farewell Spit; nioderate all other ports. Rain is probable everywhere and colder weather.
