BRENNAN'S MONO-RAIL
OFFER PASSED ON TO THE STATES. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. (Received December 17, 10.20 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The States Governments have been asked by the Minister of External Affairs (Hon. E. L. Batchelor) whether they are prepared to take up the offer of Mr. Brennan's mono-rail. This is viewed as an indication that the Federal Government does not feel justified in accepting the inventor's terms. Mr. Brennan's offer was that if the Federal Government would pay £6000 before the end of the year towards the cost of final experiments, he would grant the use of his invention in Australia on a 5 per cent, royalty. It is understood the invention is also under offer to the Indian Government. A working model of his railway was set up by Mr. Brennan some time ago in London, and created much interest. _ r
