MARIST BROTHERS' SCHOOL.

The annual concert and prize distribution of the Maribt Brothers' School took place in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall last night in the presence of his Grace Arehbibhop Redwood, members of the Catholic clergy, and a large audionce of parents und friends. A varied and cnioyablc entertainment waß provided bj the pupils oi the school, who showed careful training. Tlip principal items on tho programme were a*, follow :-- Choruses (a) "Oft in the Stilly Night," (b) "List to the Convent Bells," pupils ; solo, "Daddy Dear," J. Boyce ; violin solo, "Lullaby," C. Tandy ; recitation, "Dear Old Ireland," J. M'Carthy; duet, "Hush, 'tis the Twilight," lirsts G. Wynne, H. Uibbd, J. Baskiville, secondb C. Hill, C. Tandy, A. Johnson ; recitation, "'Nat tiirkot," L. Reeves; solo, "J3sn Bolt," 0. Hill (school medallist, 1908) ; trio, "Ho, She, li," J. Cummins, A. ivy an, B. O'Brien ; tableau and chorus, ".Let Erin Remember," pupils. In the second oart the pupils successfully presented the oper otta, "'l'he Bogus School Inspector." .Air. F. J. Oakes was musical conductor, and Mrs. Woodward pianiste.
