AUCKLAND HARBOUR BOARD LOAN.
There is every reason to believe that, the loan of the Auckland Harbour Board of £250,000 has been underwritten in London. This is a portion of the million loan for the new harbour improvement scheme and reconstruction of wharves in reinforced concrete. It will probably be found that the loan has been floated at a premium, the "underwriters issuing it at 101, carrying interest at the rate of 4£ per cent, and a currency of twenty years.
