CONCERT IN ST. MARK'S SCHOOLROOM.
, The entertainment in St. Mark's Schoolroom last evening certainly merited the warm appreciation shown by the large audience that assembled to witness the performance. The proceeds of thu entertainment are to go towards the St. Mark's Cricket Club fund. The programme comprised the singing, by the " Pierrots," of a m.mbei of soleu tions from well-known operas, and a comedy entitled " In Borrowed Plumes." The "Pierrots," who wero in costume, were as follow : — Misses E. Driscoll, L. Grey, D. Hurley, E Kirk, and C. and S. Simpson, and Messrs. R. Blow, L. C. Barnes, M. G. Nowbould, li. Pope, T. Trezise, and S. Varnham. A dance by Miss Maisies Geary brought the first part of the programme to a close. Ihe caste of characters for the comedy was as follows: — Mr. Botherby Bibbins, Mr. F. Powell; Horatio Gustavus Tattleton, Mr. H. Burdekin; Dick Mizzle, Mr. G. Deslandeg ; Violet Bibbins, Mks E. Gurney; and Emma, Miss M. Churchward. Miss F. Warren was at the piano.
