PROMINENT PLAYERS TO VISIT NEW ZEALAND.

"Huka" writes as follows : Messrs. Alexander (the American crack player) and H. A. Parker have entered for the championship doubles at the New Zealand and Nelson championship meeting. Alexander will play in the championship singles at both meetings. He will also play with T. R. Quill in Nelson handicap doubles. Parker will be playing ■with Miss Powdrell in tho combined championships at both meetings, and ha? entered for all events. S. N. Donst, the well-known New South Wale 3 champion player, has also entered for both meetings in championship singles and doubles, and will be playing with Miss Travers in both championship combined events. Parker and Alexander leave Sydney, via Auckland, on the 16th; Doust leaves Sydney for Wellington direct on the 19th ; and Wilding intends leaving in the Moeraki for Wellington on the 12th December. Beals C. Wright, and the other three Americans who were accompanying the American team, have left Melbourne, and are now on their way to Europe, intending to visit the Monte Carlo tournament and tho other meetings in the South of France.

Messrs. A. L. Wilson and Co. advertise particulars of a sale of furniture they are holding at Miramar train terminus. Intendinor buyers are notified that arrangements havo been madn regarding cartage.
