TWO CALCUTTA TRADERS.
Intimation to the Union Company reports that the British India Company's s.s. Shirald left Calcutta on Saturday with a cargo of Eastern merchandise for the Bluff, Lyttelton, and Auckland. She is due at the first-named port about the Ist January. News has also been received that the company's s.s. Aparima left Calcutta last Friday for Auckland, via Singapore ond Samarang. Afterwards she is expected to arrive at Wellington about the 9lh January.
