ADMmAL BOSANQUET. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Oopyright. LONDON, Bth December. Admiral Sir Day Hort Bosanquet is ..gazetted as the new Governor of South, Australia. Admiral Bir Day Hort Bosanquet, X.C.8., G.C.V.0., who succeeds Sir George Le Hunte, the latter having been appointed Governor of Trinidad, was 'born on 22nd March, 1843, and married in 1881 to a daughter of the late Colonel T. Bromhead Butt, of the Cameron Highlanders. He entered the Navy in 1857, and was made vice-admiral in 1902. In that year he was Commander-in-Chief, East Indies, in 1904-6 Com-mander-in-Chief on the West Indian station, and was Commander-in-Chief at Portsmouth in 1906.
