BRANCH OF THE SLAUGHTERMEN'S UNION.
* jDY TELHOBAPH — PBBSS ASSOCIATION. 1 HASTINGS, This Day. At a meeting of employees of the Pakipaki and North Britten Freezing Works held here last night, Mr. Reardon (Wellington) presiding, it was resolved to form a branch of the Wellington Slaughtermen's Union. Of fifty present twenty-one Pakipaki and sixteen, North British workers handed 'n their names as members. Mr. J. Hunt, ot Pakipaki, was appointed secretary.
