[BY TELEGRAPH — PKESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, Bth December.' The annual meeting of the Auckland Stock Exchange was held to-day. The chairman, Mr. G. A. Buttle, in the course of his remarks, referred to tho criticism to which the Exchange had been subjected during the year, 'and urged the need foi_ maintaining a high standard of commercial honour. Anderson, W. Frater. D. M'l.ood, H. M. Shepherd, and F. Wallur.

The potato crops throughout the Ashburton County are reported, to be looking well, and so ' far the early-Eown crops are entirely free from blight, saya the Press.
