Henry Hurrell, £18 15s" 4d and £1 10s 6d. In a judgment summons case, Charles Benjamin Carpenter, who did not appear, defendant was ordered to pay to Herbert J. Wyatt the sum of £7 10s on or before 10th December, in default to undergo seven days' imprisonment. In the case C. M. Banks, Ltd., v. Manson A. Currin, debtor was ordered to pay balance, 8s 6d, on or before 10th December, or in default spend twentyfour hours in gaol. Norman Campbell was ordered to pay £10 16s to Hutchison and Campbell on or before 10th December, or in default undergo fourteen days' imprisonment. Joseph Orr, £38 7s 9d ; Frank Clout and Norman Clout, trading as Clout Bros., v. Stanley Sawtell, £3 2s 6d; Thompson Bros., Ltd., v. Thomas Henry Watson, £2 Os lOd. Chief Judge Palmer, who is holding a sitting of the court at Rotorua, is not expected back in Wellington for another fortnight. Tho Christchurch City Council invites tenders for tho supply and delivery of water pipes, etc. Particulars are advertised in this issue. A string band will play a programme of music at Bellevuo Gardens on Sunday afternoon. Just vow when the flowers are in full bloom the gardens present an attractive appearance. Messrs. T.
