LAWN TENNIS.
Thu public M'nools' annual cluimpiorishinc: are to start at 9 o'clock on Saturday morning at the Brougham Hill courts in Lloyd-street. Good entries have been received, and the management will bo grateful if tennis playcis will ,attend and assist with the umpiring of the matches. The public is invited to attend. Miss JI. Williams is the hon. secretary, and tennis players willing to umpire are asked to kindly send their names to her at the Terrace School. An important change in connection with the management of the inter-club competitions has been effected, in consoqaence of which Ut. T. H. Jones, m addition to his ordinary duties, has token up the secretaryship of the Shield Committee. All matters concerning the running of the weekly matches should in future be forwarded to that official at 149, Adelaide-road.
