HALF-YEARLY MEETING. ,By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. (Received November 25, 10.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. At the half-yearly meeting of the Bank of New South Wales the net profits were shown at £167,928. With £33,988 brought forward this made a total of £201,916. A dividend of 10 per cent, was declared, £40,000 waa added to reserve and £36,916 carried for\vard. The chairman stated that during the year advances increased by £1,915,000. There had been a considerable demand for money for development purposes in New South Wales and Queensland. In New Zealand business was also very active. The drop in prices of Australian products had been arrested and the outlook was distinctly more encouraging.
