(Applause./ In the past ht had done hie best to truly represent the interests of tne people win, sent him to Parliament. Ai a result oi' the election he would retire into private lite foi a time, and during tho period would be engaged in some other useful occupation. Tho electors ot Wellington South had expressed their confidence in Mr. Wright, and he congratulated hie opponent on his sue cess. Although defeated he would stil> retain good wishes and kindly feelings towards the people of Wellington South
