PERTH, This Day. Mr. Gregory, Minister of Mines, de-feate-d Mr. Buzacott (Labour), for tho Menzies seat by 52 votes. [At tho general election Mr. Buzacott defeated Mr. Gregory by seven votes, but was unseated on petition. The question which Mr. Gregory brought before the court was whether -nine people who bad ceased to reside in the district for more than three months, -but had voted in the election, did not by that means nullify the whole process. On behalf of Mr. Buzacott it was argued that out of the nine names objected to, four had been protested against by Mr. Buzacott's scrutineers, but had been allowed to vote by the presiding officer.
