fUy Telegraph.— Special to The Post.] MASTERTON, This Day. At the monthly meeting of the Chamber of Commerce, held last week, . Mr. H. C. L. Robinson brought up the question of the new court buildings, stating that the position was now somewhat of a deadlock. He maintained that a new courthouse should be erected and Supreme Court sittings held here, stating that at tho present time quite fifty witnesses from this district ,were in attendance at the current sitting of the Supreme Court in Wellington in connection with cases from this district. It was decided to write to the Registrar of the Supreme Court requesting particulars of Crown and general expenses of witnesses attending various cases from this district, with a view to ascertaining what amount might have been saved if Supremo Court sittings had been held at Masterton.
