«. By Telegraph.— Preas Association.— Copyright. (Received November 21, 9.20 a.m.) LONDON, 20fch November. The Antwerp sales closed with prices confirming the advances. Out of 5196 bales of La Plata offered, 4011 were sold. The Department of Industries and Commerce has received the following cablegram from tho High Commissioner, dated London, 20th November : — "The wool market is : advancing steadily, and there is more depand. Estimated values are as follow :—3s's: — 35's low crossbreds, lid ; 40's low crossbreds, ISfd ; 44's medium crossbreds, Is o£d ; 50's half-breds, Is 4d ; 56' s quarter-breds, Is 6£d ; 60' s merinos, Is ll£d.
