The Raumati Estate, situate within thirty chains of the Paraparaumu railway station, and which is to bo disposed of by public auction nl tho Exchange Land IVlari of Messrs. T. Kennedy Macdonald, Ltd., next Wednesday night, is stated to be receiving special attention by intending buyers throughout tho district and city. The ostato consists of 380 town, suburban, small-farm, and dairy-farm sections of varied areas up to 63 acres; also half -aero sections, fronting the Scarborough beach and the old coach-road. The terms of salo arc: — Deposits of £2 10s and £5 on town, suburban, and seaside lots, with easy payments for balance of purchase-money, as detailed, and special terms for tho small farni lots. Mr. W. J. Howell, who is residing at the homestead on tho estate, will at any timo show intending buyers over the sections. Plans ? with full details, and an article headed "A Railway Man's Experiences on a One-acre Section," can be obtained on application to the auctionoors. The advertisement giving all particulars is inserted to-day. Te Rcinga Estate, situato in the Upper Hutt township, within a few minutes' walk from tho railway station there, will bo submitted to auction on Wednesday evening, 2nd December, by Messrs. T. Kennedy Macdonald, Ltd., at ' their Exchange Land Mart. The lots comprise 123, having frontages to the Main Hutt-road and other streets, as detailed in the advertisement. The sections aro described as being level, and will bo put up at upset prices, which range from £25 each. These are detailed in tho lithographic plans issued. Tho torms of sale are a doposit of £2 10s and £5, according to size of section, and similar amounts, by instalments every three months, until half of the purchase money is paid, the balance to remain open for four years. Attontion is directed by the auctioneers to the fact that the Upper Hutt is now included in tho railway suburban a-rea, and that the fares have boen reduced, with the added convenience of additional trains running through to tho Upper Hutt. Plans can be obtained on application. The firm report further sales by privato treaty of sections in tho Crofton Downs Estate, and announce in an advertisement that in ordor to meet tho wishes of a number of intonding'Vpui-chascrs their offices will be open to night from 7 to 9 o'clock to distribute plans and give information respecting the sections. Messrs. Bertenshaw and Evenssn hold their first auction salo of horses at Watts's depository, Dixon-street, yesterday. The auctioneers report that there was a good list of ontries, comprising upwards of 40 horses of all classes, consigned by Mr. Nat Sutherland, and Messrs. Hoult and Son, horse breeders in the Feilding district. Thero was an excellent attendance, and some spirited bidding. The auctioneers announce that thoy intend to hold weekly sale« of all classes of horses, harness, vehicles; to commence at 2 o'clock every Wednesday. Entries received up to time of sale. Messrs. A. L. Wilson and Co. advertise particulars in our auction columns of a sale of household furniture at Uplandroad, Kelburne, to be held on Monday, 23rd, at 1.30 o'clock. On Tuesday, tho 24th, commencing at 11 o'clock, thoy will sell at No. 7, May-street, the contents of 8 rooms. On Wednesday they will hold their weekly sale of household furniture in their rooms, the salo to commence at 1.30. On Thursday thoy will sell at 11 o'clock in their rooms a selection of Dutch bulbs, said to be specially ' adapted for the Now Zealand climate. Messrs. J. H. Bethune and Co. are holding a property auction at their rooms on Friday next, 27th inst., at 2.30 p.m. Three building sites at Hataitai are being offered. These have frontages varying from 40ft 4in to. 42ft to Matai-road, by a depth varying from 157 ft to 163 ft; they are situated 230 yards from the electric trar-i line. Under instructions from tho Registrar of the Supreme Court tho following are being submitted :— Three residences, each of 6 rooms, in Bridge-street, Lower Hutt; a six-roomed house in Der-went-street, Island Bay; a five-roomed cottage in Ribble-street, Island Bay ; and a five-roomed house, with outbuildings, White's line, Alicetown. Details of tho various lots appear in the advertisement. On Wednesday, 2nd December, next, at 10 a.m., at the residence, No. 4, Mowbray-street, Messrs. Bethune and Co., under instructions from Mrs. Henderson, who is leaving tho Dtir-inion, are selling her household furniture and appointments, tho contents of 12 rooms. Catalogues aro now being prepared, and v/ill be posted to any address on application. The firm insert a preliminary notice with regard to a sale of a collection of paintings, water-colour drawings, and sketches, which they are holding at their rcoms at 2 p.m. on Friday, 11th December. Tho pictures will be on view on and after Wednesday, 2nd December, and on the evenings of Saturday and Wednesday, sth and 9th December. Complete catalogues may bo obtained on application. The firm insert an amended list of business and residential properties, which they have on their books for private sale, also a number of houses to let both furnished and unfurnished. Messrs. Harcourt and Co. announce in our advertising columns that on Monday, the 9th proximo, they will sell by public auction at the rooms, Lambton-quay, by order of tho mortgagee, all that parcel of land, being section 13, block 5, on the map of Omahino survey district, Waitotara, near Wanganui, and being all the land in cortificato of title, vol. 78, folio 247, and containing 203 acres.
