CHARGE OF PERJURY. [By Telegraph.— Special to The Post.] DUNEDIN, This Day. In the civil case Watson Bros, against Southland Frozen Meat Company, tie Appeal Court sustained Mr. Justice Williams's verdict in favour of the defendant. A quite unlooked-for development has now arisen, Mr. Cochrane, manager of the defendant company and a prominent Invercargill resident, having been served with an information alleging perjury in connection with the evidence given by him. The information is to be heard in Invercargill, before Mr. Cruickshank, S.M., on Monday. The matter is occasioning the greatest interest in Southland.
