William Barnard Davy, 24 years of age, residing at W.orksop, came to London in search of his wife, from whom he had been separated. He found her, hailed a taxicab, shot her, and then committed suicide in the vehicle. The crime is attributed to jealousy. Davy was the son of a former hotelkeeper in Sheffield. He squandered a fortune. R-ecently he paid a visit to Australia.
