Yorkshire, won by the former by 24 points to 11, Hardcastle and Dean scored trieß in the first half, Messenger converting the second one. Yorkshire also scored a goal and two tries. The Australians improved in tha second half, and Messenger, Walsh, Holloway, and O'Malley secured tries, of which Messenger converted two. SETTLERS FOR NEW SOUTH WALES. LONDON, 6th November. The steamer Waratah sailed with 720 third-class passengers, including 110 assisted settlers, for New South Wales. This is the largest number of third-class passengers taken out by any steamer. A COLOUR FEUD. BRISBANE, This Day. A colour feud has occurred at Atnerton, North Queensland. The cause is not known. THE WAIKARE. HOBART, This Day. The Waikaro arrived 24 hours late.
