The weather again favoured the Victoria Racing Club for the third day of the Gup meeting, beautifal sunshine and a south breeze making the conditions pleasant. Ladies congregated in greater numbers than on the previous days, and the dresses were shown to best advantage. Lord and Lady Dudley and party also attended. The results are : — November Hurdle Race, two miles — Kia Ora, 10.6, 1 ; Lady Carrick, 9.0, 2 ; Red Fly, 12.5, 3. Also started: Scandal, Rogue's March, The Winnower, Brelogne, and The Sinner. Won by a length. Time, 3min. 48sec. Second Nursery Handicap, for two-year-olds; six furlongs. — Lady San, 7.13, 1; Iraprint, 7.1, 2; Amati, 8.7, 3. Alsostarted : Saltare, Stoppingsbone, Diabolo, Vivacious, and Scourge. Won easily by two lengths. Time, lmrn. 16sec. Linlithgow Stakes, a sweepstake of 10 soys. each, with 1000 soys. added, second horse to receive 200 soys., and the third horse 100 soys from the stake. For three-year-olds and upwards. Weight for age, with penalties and special allowances. One mile. Messrs. Nettlefold and Price's b h Pink 'Un, by Strowan — Manutuke, 6yrs, 9.9 (inc. 101b penalty) 1 Mr. K. S. Enchant teur then took second place to Lord Carlyon. Soultline and Enchanteur were fighting out the finish at the half distance, when. Pink 'Un came out and won by a length, with three-quarters of a I length between second and third. Time, lmm. 40£ sec. Carnival Handicap, of 500 soys ; one mile and a quarter. Mr. H. Off Chance was prominent to the abattoirs, but Trafalgar led into the straight from Pendil, True Scot, and Mazarin. Pendil then dashed to the front, and won by a length and a quarter, with half a length bet-ween the next pair. Time, 2min. 7^sec. Oaks Stakes, of 400 soys, for three-year-old fillies ; one mile and a half. Mr. J. Turnbull's br f Nushka, by Orzil (imp) — Kettledrum, 8.10 ... 1 Mr J. B. Farquharson's Lady Bobadil, 8.10 2 Hon. A. Wynne's Flavour, 8.10 ... 3 Also started : Hela. After passing the bridge, Nushka took the lead and won easily by five lengths, with eight lengths between the next two. Time, 2min. 38^sec.
