Krebs, a labourer, aged 36, generally a sober man, had been • drinking for the last day or two. His wife, who is an invalid, asked her husband to ease her back. Soon after he placed his arm round her neck, lifted her chin, and cut his wife's throat. Before jumping over the cliff, he must have cut his own throat, He fell 300ffc. The wife is alive, and may possibly recover. . There is no clue <at -present as to motive. Only evidence oU identification was taken to-day, and the inquest was adjourned.
