(By Telegbaph. — Special to The Post.] CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. A letter has been received in Christchurch from Mr. F. H. Chamberlain, recently engineer to the Tramway Board, in which he States that he has been appointed inspecting engineer to the General Electric Company, of Schenectady, New York, and began his duties on the Ist October. He will have charge of the company's tramway works throughout the United States.
