MR. FITZGERALD AT HOME.
Mr. J. E. Fitzgerald addressed two meetings of electors hist night, one at Kaiwarra and one at Nghauranga. He gave credit to the Government for its endeavours to give a free breakfast table, and also spoke of the benefits which the Advances to Settlers and Workers Acts

Ho would like to see more encouragement given to defence volunteers, and to have cadets drafted into other companies after they left school. He repeated his denial that he was being ran by a syndicate, and offered to give £50 to charity if any proof to the contrary was brought. He was not in favour of Bible-reading in school?.
