The handsome new concrete and plaster premises for the Bank of New Zealand' were formally opened this morning. The function was attended by the Mayor and leading citizens. The visitors included Messrs. A. L. D. Fraser, Alfred Dillon, and J. Snodgrass (Bank of New Zealand, Napier). The architectural English renaissance and modelled work on the street fac«»de has produced fine results. The banking chamber is 39 x «52ffc, and furnished with polished cedar. The contract price for the building is £5000.
