THE PAST 18 HOURS. , On Saturday there was a further fall of the baiometer generally, but it commenced to rise in tho southern districts about G p.m., and by Sunday morning this movement had become general. Moderate to strong westerly winds have 'been prc\alent, and there was a moderate rainfall at places southward of Napier and New Plymouth on Saturday, but this had cleared off by Sunday morning, and m tl>e northern districts the weather has continued fine.
