The sum of £5286 was put through the totalisator for th& day, making a total c-f £10,389 for the meeting, as against £15,790 for last year's meeting. Maharata Handicap ; on© mile. — Dardanus, 1 ; Hinetitama, 2 ; Auldearn, 3. Time, lmin 47 l-ssec. Second Hack Handicap. — Miss Advance, 1 ; Pearl Reef, 2 ; Mistime, 3. Time, lmin 20 2-ssec. Maiden Scurry ; five furlongs. — Mungamotio, 1 ; Waikanae, 2 ; K.aitaharo, : i>. Time, lmin 6sec. Waikanae Handicap ; five furlongs. — Tarina, 1 ; Andrew Mack, 2. Time, lmin ssec. Deeley, was suspended for six months. A further enquiry regarding the owner and horse will be held to-morrow.
