Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on. their Johnsonville sale as follows: — A good entry of prime bullocks were keenly competed for. Beef made up to 245; best bullocks, £9 10g to £10 2s 6d, £8 10s to £9; lighter, £7 10s to £8 7s 6d. A good entry of sheep of fair quality were up co requirement. Best wethers, 17s lOd to 18s 9d; lighter. 16s 6d to 17s; ewes, 13s 9d to 14s 7d. The Department of Industries and Commerce Eas received a report from the High Commissioner in London, dated Bth May, 1908, which states that tho price for Scheelite is 26s to 28s per unit and Wolfram 28s to 30s per unit, with a weakening tendency. Antimony ore going 50 per cent, minimum is quoted at £7 per ton. _Tha United Farmers' Co-operativo Association, Ltd., quotes as follows: — Wheat, whole fowl, 5s 3d ; maize, 5s 3d ; oats, shofrt feed 3s, dun 3a 4d, black tartars 3s sd, long white tartar seed 3s sd, Algerian seed 4s, Garton seed 3s 3d, sparrowbill seed 3s 3d . barley, feed 3s lOd, seed Capu 4s lOd; chaff, prime oatensheaf, £6 per ton; bran, £7 10s; pollard, £8 10s; flour, Tiniaru roller, 200 £13, 100 £13 10s, 50 £13 15s : hams, prime factory, 9d per lb ; bacon, B|d ; butter, private separator Is 2d per lb, factory Is 3d ; cheese, factory largo 6£d, loaf 7d ; peas, Partridge seed, 5s 3d per bushel ; whole linseed, new season's, 15s per cwt.
