[BY TELEGBAPH. rKESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, 22nd May. Mr. J. J. Walklate, general manager of the Auckland Tramways Company, has forwarded to Mr. Arthur Rossor, secretary of the union, tho following letter: — I have to thank you for your cordial invitation extended to me by a deputation this morning to attend a meeting and discuss the matter in dispute between us. lam quite willing to attend a meeting at the hour of 10.30 tomorrow morning, either in your room, or perhaps more conveniently in the Chamber of Commerce Hall, which is ■f lose by, and which I now place at your disposal for that purpose.
