The Foreign Offir;e announces that King Edward is about to pay a State visit to the Tsar. His Majesty will arrive at Revel, in the Royal yacht "Victoria and Albert, accompanied by an. escort of two cruisers, on 9th June. This is the first official visit his Majesty has been able, since his "accession to the throne, to pay to the Emperor, to whom %c is so closely allied by the ties of friendship and near relati6nship. QUEEN ALEXANDRA DOES NOT GO WH!H THE KING. A POINT COMMENTED UPON. (Received 'May 22, 8 a.m.) LONDON, 21st May. The fact that the Foreign Office makes the announcement of King Edward's proposed virrit to Russia, coupled with the wording of the announcement, indicates that the State character of the visit is predominant. Moreover, Queen Alexandra does not accompany the King. Sir Cha&. Hardinge, Permanent Undersecretary to the Foreign Office, accompanies HiSr Majesty. The fact that King Edward is sailing on the evening of the 3rd, as soon as convenient after the visit of M. Fallieries, Krench President, is commented upon.
