HOCKEY.
REFEREES' ASSOCIATION. x A meeting of the Wellington Hockey Refdrees' Association, was held last evening, Mr. W. J. Organ presiding. Mr. Q. Nathan was appointed to the position of secretary to the association, in place of Mr. K. C. Morpeth, who resigned owing to pressure of business. The meeting gave consideration to two of the important rules, which are, in future to be strictly enforced. One rule is in rllation to the "throwing-in"' . and it was 'decided that the ball must be put into play at the exact place where the line is crossed. The other rule is in relation to the "throwing-in," which is in future to be prohibited and penalised by a free hit. TEAMS, AND FIXTURES. United v.
