MR. JELLICOE MAKES CHARGES. "LAND-GEAB." THE TRIAL OF DINIZULU. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— -Copyright. LONDON, 2nd March. Mr. E. G. Jellicoe, who recently visited „ Natal in connection with the legal defence of the chief Dinizulu, has forwarded a statement to Lord Elgin, Secretary of State for the Colonies. In this Mr. Jellicoe declares that European land-grab was the cause of the native -troubles in Natal, and he also osserts that it is impossible for Dinizulu to obtain a fair trial. MUEDER OF A CHIEF. AN ARREST MADE. DURBAN, 2nd March. A Zulu ha* been arrested at Zombolwana on a charge of murdering the loyal chief Sitstiteli in August last. Ho declares that ho merely obeyed the orders given him by his chinf. Sitstiteli resided at- Nkandhla. His murder, at the time attributed to a rebel belonging to the Kohva tribe, caused other loyal chiefs apprehension as to their safety.
