A seizure of a number of sacks o( bad oystera was mado by tho Health Department on Saturday, It is stated that hawkers attend tho salos in Wellington, and purchase for two or three shillings a Back of oysters absolutely unfit for human food at a time whon good oysters oro bringing 18s or more per sack. Tho bad oysters are immediately taken up to the country towns and hawked round at what might bo a reasonably price if they wore good, but both tho prico and the oysters prove very high under tho circumstances.
