Over twenty-three thousand acres of Government lands, consisting of pa6toral Tuns situated between the Patea and Manawatu Rivers, were offered for ]easo at the Wellington Land Board Office yesterday. They consisted largely of sandhills, and they were disposed "of as follows :■ — Rune 5. 6, and 7, Block XII., Wairoa S.D., 767 acres 2 roods, annual rental £39, Mrs. I. M. Symes (Waverley). Runs 8 and 9, Block XIV., Wairoa, S.D., 2105 acres, £35, Mrs. A. J. Symes ( Waverlev) . Runs 10, 11, and part 12, Block XIV., Wairoa S.D., 2700 acres, £45, Mr. L. R-. W. Reid (Maxwellton). Runs 14 and 15, Block IX., Ikitara S.D., 1140 acre.-?, £24, Mr. L. Wright (Wanganui). Run 16, Blocks IX. and X., Ikitara S.D., 2350 acres, £49, Mr. P. L Blyth (Wanganui). Run 17, Block XIII. Vclla, of Paremula, at the upset annual lental of £165. There were no other applicants.
