A SAD ACCIDENT TO A BOY.
A small boy named Lay, son of an Upper Hutt storekeeper, was knocked down by a cart -while playing on the road at Upper Hutt yesterday. It is thought the wheel passed overiiis hoad. The unforAmate boy was at once put on board a train to convey him to the hospital, but he died belore the train reached Petono An inquest will be held to- ■ morrow afternoon.
