ENTERTAINMENTS. CLARA BUTT-RUMFORD.
The box plan for the Clara Butt and Kennerley Rumford concerts, which are now opon, arc filling quickly, and this morning numerous applications for trie iss tickets were made. The concerts, which take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings of next week, will be the last given in the Dominion by tho contralto and her husband, making in all twenty-one appearances in New Zealand. Throughout the tour record aui diences have been 'the rule. This evening a concert will be given at Napier, and Madame Butt, Mr. Rumford and party return here on Saturday. THEATRE ROYAL. Fullera' Vaudeville. Entertainers are continuing to meet with well merited public favour at tho Theatre Royal. Tho Vantells in horizontal bar displays, Denis Carney in eccentric songs and dances, and Will Jamos in banjo specialities are amongst tha- chief contributors to this week's programme. THE ROYAL PICTURES. Webb's victory on the Parramatta river, when he defeated Towns and secured the championship, is to be given in pictorial show at His Majesty's Theatre this evening, by tho Royal Picture Proprietary.
