WELLINGTON CATHOLIC CLUB.

Tha Wellington Catholic Club held its half-yearly meeting last evening. Mr. A. 11. Casey, vice-president, presided. The report and bolance-shcet (already published) were adoptod. On behalf of tho members of the club the chairman Drc.sentecl tho Roy. Father Kimboll, who is leaving Wellington to | take up missionary work, with gifts in appreciation of the services he had rondered as spiritual director oE the club, and president of the literary and debating society. A hearty reception was accorded the Vcn. Archdeacon Devoy on his return from his trip to the Old Land. A now rule providing for the election of life members was adopted, and under its provisions Mr. H. M'keowon was later elected first lifo member of tho club. The election of oflicors for the year resulted : — Patron, his Grace Archbishop Redwood : president, Very Rev. Father O'Shea vice-presidents, Vcn. Archdeacon Dovoy, Roy. Father Kimbell, Mr. M. Kennedy, .Mr. M. O'Connor, Roy. Father Maloney, Mr. C. P. Skerrett, Mr. A. H. Casqy, Rev. Father Vonning, Mr. J. J. Devine, Mr. E. j. Fitzgibbon; hon. secretary, Mr. J. M'Gowan; hon. treasurer, jVIr. J. O'Leary ; executive, Mr. P. M-Grath. Mr. A. Soarle, Mr. F. Ellor. Mr. J. J. Gibbs, Mr. H. S. Seward, Mr. A. Amodio, Mr. M. O'Kano, Mr. E. Ryan, Mr. N. Crombia ; hon. auditor?, Messrs. E. J. Fitzgibbon and F. P. Kelly.
