THORNDON DINGHY CLUB.

A club' handicap race was got off last evening. The following boats competed:—E. Bailey's Thelma (scr.), B. Stirling's Vcra (2£min.), L. Sargent's Oeo - (Srnin), J. S. Swan's Blowfly (3min), and 0. Scott's Spray (smin). There was a fresh southerly blowing in the first round, but it fell light in the second round, and all tho boats carried full sail. Tho Spray maintained the lead throughout and iinished first at 7hr 38min 50soc ; Oeo, second, 7hr 39min 40scc ; Blowfly third 7hr 40min 20sec ; •Vtrra, 7hf 40min 43sec ; and Thelma 7hr-46uiin 46sec. Mr. Redmond carried out tho duties of starter, judge, and timekeeper, and Mr. M'Keever framed ttie, handicaps.
