EXCITING STREET SCENE. LECTURER CHASED IN CHRISTCHURCH.
[BT TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, Bth February. Late last night a disturbance took place in the city, due to a crowd of people taking offence at some remarks mado by an open-air lecturer, alleged to be a Mormon. The speaker and his associates were set upon and chased through a number of streets by the crowd, but were eventually relieved by tho police.
