LODGE MEETINGS.

\ . There was a largo attendance at l&sb session of the King's Coronation Lodge, No. 83, 1.0. G.T. Dro. S. Shawy C.T., presided. The quarterly leturns of the various officers showed the lodge to have a membership of 46, and the finances were satisfactory. The olfieers elected last week, with the uddition of Bro. Reid as sentinel, and -Bro. T. Miller as assistant secretary, wore installed into office by Bio. A. Dryden, L.D., assisted by Bros. Elks and ,Coozc. For the respective positions ■of L.D. and KD., Bros. L. Karris and P. Sorenson wtio lecoinmcndcd. The* new officers briefly returned thanks for election. Hearty fratenu'l greetings were received from lodges in Dunedin, Christchurch, Auckland, Sydney, and England. The weekly session of the Star of Wellington Lodgo of Good Templars was held in Richards's Hall, Cuba-street. Brp. Greaney, chief templar, presided. Ono new member was admitted. Tho reports of tho officers were read 'and adopted. The officers for the new quarter wero then installed by Bro. A. B Thomson, district depuLy, ■ assisted by Bro. Allan, geneial assistant secretary, and Sister Atkinson as installing marshall. Bros. W. H. Ingram and W. Callio were recommended for the positions of lodge deputy and electoral deputy respectively. Court Sir George Grey held its fortnightly meeting in the Foresters' Hall }ast week, .C.R. Bro. E. J. Piorcy presiding. The various city courts and Court Loyal, Northland, wero well roproacnted. P.C.It. Bro. Key was presented by Senior Trustee Bro. W. C. Watson, on behalf of Court Sir George Grey, with a cruet and a sot of carvers, suitably- inscribfd, and by Bro.
