At a meeting of tho National Riflo Association, Major Richardson, who was in charge of the British rifle tsam which visited Australia last year, described the tour, and expressed ppprsciatlon of tho hospitality received at all places. He ■was sure the experience gained would bo of great use to British rifle shooting. Australians indulged in constant practice at longer ra!ige3 than were in voguo in Britain, and this largely contributed to their success.
