All the neAV cbmpany constitute recruits in a technical sense, and every member ia now uudergoing tho three months' course of development drill which the Council of Defenco has proscribed for all recruits. It is a scries of Avell-devised physical exorcises, and its effect in strengthening and making lissom the young men avlio go through it becomes apparent on oven a cuisory obeervation. The instruction last night Avas given by Sergt. Gentks, of tho Permanent Forces, and tho recruits Avent through it Avith a thoroughness that augurs Avell for the neAv company's prospects.
