(BT TELECB-jrir. — FHESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, sth February, The scow Defiance, which was beached a few miloa from tho Manukau Heads for safety during the stormy weather some six months ago, Avas floated by Mr. G. T. Nicol and brought to Onelmiiga. to-day. Another scow, the Tramp, has been ashore on the West Coast near the Kaipava for many months. If the easterly weather continues, she will probably be got off with littje difficulty.
