| NEWS CAUSES THEM GREAT GBIEP. LONDON, 3rd February. The news, which was communicated to them at 3 o'clock in the morning, caused King Edward and Queen Alexandra tho greatest grief. Instead of dining with ths Lifeguards officers at Knightsbridge, King Edward dined privately with hiß family at the Palace. DEEP IMPRESSION CAUSED AT OPORTO. A WARSHIP ASKED FOR. LISBON, 3rd February. The tragedy has created a deep im> pression at Oporto. The Spanish population there are petitioning for a warship.
